celia cruz was said to be the queen of salsa. her strong personality demanaded attention the second she steeped on stage. her music has traveled all over the earth delivering her message of joy to life. she had more than 50 albums that truly show her amazing talents. she has four generations of fans with completly different racial and cultural backrounds.
celia was born in havana cuba on october 21. she has always refused to give the exact year she was born it has been said to be between 1916- 1929 but it is under the assumtion that she was born in the year 1924. as a young girl celia sang to the smaller children in her household. her voice was strong and gave a the neighbors and many other around her entertainment fot hours. it was the intentions of her father that celia becom a school teacher, but when said that becoming an entertainer would makeher nore money in a day that a teacher would make in a year that celia decided that singing woulg be her occupaion.
in 1940 she began to sing in the radio, she also studyed in a conservaty from 1947 to 1950. in 1950 the islands top band was la sonsora mantancera, they choose celia to be their singer. she was with the band until she left cuba due to fidel castro and the communist revolution.

well i am in an internet shop in mexico and its so so weird... the owner just sits at his post looking in to the air.
so far my trip has been how we say here in the land of refried beans and bottled coca cola very fun
a hell of a lot differnt than the states.
let me tell you a story:
my family and i came home one night from makeing a rukcus in the near by town and we came home and met a little boy, he seemed nice but he had a dark side to him...
the next morning we come to find that he aqurired a little bunny
he told my cousin he wanted to barry it alive!!!!!
my goodness. this kid in mental obviously, any hoo the day went by and he said many more sick and demented things.
and the next night after a lovely vist to our great aunts we come home only to find a THREE DEAD BUNNYSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
DISMANTED and disaryed
a real horroshow, well my cousin dulce and i were in a frensy, my o my. that night we sleept elsewhere for obvious resions.
... my aunt is having the house blessed on friday, ha theses crazy cathlics
other than that mexico has been muy neat. i miss my life back home especily warm showers, my buddys and my erik.
